What does Luckenbooth mean?

The Luckenbooth is a Scottish symbol of love and romance. From the 17th century, onward, it was often given as a token of engagement, affection or friendship.

The name is derived from the Scots term Luckenbooth, which were lockable merchant booths in Edinburgh, where jewelry and other items were sold.

Why Luckenbooth?

Part of it is a fascination with our (partial) Scottish roots. The other part is what it means to us: loyalty.
